Hatherleigh Festival 2009

'Twas a fine day for the Saturday afternoon event in and around the Community Centre, but not many ventured out to enjoy things. Plenty was going on - here's some of what you missed if you were one of the 'stay awayers'. The festival web site is here if you need full details of what happened during the weekend.

Close up magic kept certain people enthralled, and occupied.

The film fest ran for most of the afternoon in the main hall.
On Display
Numerous stall holders were showing their wares:

Selling sticks made from hornbeam, elder, beech and lots more. All made in Red Lane apparently.

Paul Wright, a photographer from Holsworthy, showed some nice local images printed on various media. He's pictured above against one of his images of Dartmoor.

We're saying nothing!

Flossing is good for you we're told!

Trinkets for sale here.
