October 25th 2009: Here's 2009 President Tony Conner and wife Isobel, along with Queen Elect Jade Morris and the Prince and Princess.


The giant bike float made for the recent Tour of Britain Stage 7 start in Hatherleigh on Sept 18th.
The float will appear in the Carnival on Nov 14th.


Saturday 14th, 5am: first flaming Tar Barrel run
10am: Eggesford Hunt meets by The George (RIP)
11am: Town Criers competition - Ros tells us that we have 24 coming this year! Ear plugs recommended.
2pm: Afternoon Procession to market from Claremont. Crowning of Queen, Prince and Princess, plus Fancy Dress competition for walking guys.
7pm: Evening Procession
9pm approx (after the procession): Final flaming Tar Barrel run to close Carnival Day.
